Petrol Filling holes Without Closing

Since General Motors out of bankruptcy, GM is now developing innovation through new products. The latest creation from Cadillac as GM include introducing XTS 2013 with the design of fuel injection holes without a cover (capless fueling).

How it works, when the fuel nozzle is inserted, the edges will push two doors. Then, the nozzle will be locked by a rubber seal on the fuel injection holes automatically. Through this two-door system allows the tank remain airtight and do not leak.

The new system will provide advantages for the rider to keep hands clean and free from scratching the paint is often caused by a swinging lid of the tank.

Other advantages, this makes the system without closing our hands no longer need to access it and enable it to be designed smaller and less conspicuous to improve the exterior aesthetics of the vehicle.

Capless fueling is developed due to the fuel pit must be completely sealed. Because if the fuel cap loose as is the case in conventional systems, making the light "check engine" light. Later on the XTS 2013 pit design will be smaller, so they can avoid fuel dripping when done charging.

IBM Battery 500 Lithium - Air

Have developed many different types and models of electric cars today, but they still have obstacles that are generally on the mileage that can be done and the means of charging the car battery is still very rare. To that end, IBM's deal to create a battery that has the ability to cruise far enough, which is 800 km for all the contents and called the Battery 500 (according to the distance traveled in miles).

Battery called lithium-air, the borrowing oxygen from the air when the car was examined digunakan.IBM since 2009. This battery technology is not only succeeded in creating a battery that is lighter because of the high energy density, also prevents the use of heavy metal oxides.

For this, IBM took the experts from the two Japanese companies, the Central Glass and Asahi Kasei (manufacturer of lithium-ion battery electrolyte) and a prototype is expected to be made final later this year.

Okey, from which data are available, now the question is whether IBM can reduce the cost of production is not much different from conventional batteries?

Toyota Develops Sensor Monitor Emotional Drivers

Car Without a Driver

Technology in the automotive world continues to evolve as well as in the IT world. Many aspects of automotive components has been developed, and this time would be a reality without a driver's car or often called driverless, driven by a computer. Currently, Continental AG is developing a car that can drive itself using the Volkswagen Passat. To that end, mounted on a car mounted radar sensors, video cameras and onboard computers that can drive itself in a variety of road conditions.

"This is not science fiction anymore, we have to test it out aboratorium step forward," said Christian Schumacher, Director of Systems Engineering Continental North America. Through this feature, it can later be used to help drivers who are stuck in traffic.

Continental tests performed, including speeding up, determine the direction or purpose, the brakes and keep the car fixed at a constant speed dijalurkan 60 kph.

According to Schumacher, will cost 100 U.S. dollars (USD 917 000) for each sensor plus a video camera. For cars that have used lane monitoring sensors, cruise control and blind spot monitoring, can also be utilized.

Driverless technology is already in development since 2004, by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency to sponsor a 260 km race through the Mojave Desert and none were successful. Subsequently in 2007, six cars robot simulation through city streets in the former air base Victorville, California.

Google also tried the car without a driver in 2010 by using the Toyota Prius which is guided by video cameras and lidar sensors are mounted on the roof. Lidar is a sensor that detects light and the distance through optical remote-sensing.

Nissan With Intel Atom for Infotainment System

Increasingly rapid technological developments make increasingly sophisticated equipment available, such as Intel, which is a world's largest microprocessor manufacturer will supply processors for Nissan infotainment devices. The processor used is the type of Atom. Nissan began using prosesr Atom in 2013.

Twin-display technology developed by Intel is a new innovation for the information system. Nissan chose Intel as a technology partner to develop and enrich due to feature information on the car.

Nissan is trying to develop a separate electronic technology to control the engine and brakes of the car information system. Later, the car will work better with electronic devices such as mobile phones and internet services.

Both companies have been cooperating sensors and rear cameras that monitor the driver's job easier when parking. Later, it will also be used chip or barcode screen phone that serves as a replacement for a conventional car keys.
Nissan believes the innovation will make him win the increasingly fierce market competition.
